Hotel rooms are available from 2.30 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11.00 am on the day of departure. Our wellness area is available from 12.00 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, it is available until 2.00 pm. An extension of use until 5.00 pm is possible for an additional charge.

All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with radio, a direct-dial telephone, a safe, a bathrobe, a hairdryer, a terrace or balcony, and are non-smoking.
We are happy to provide additional amenities for your room on request: a selection of pillows, woollen blankets, hypoallergenic bed linen, as well as practical aids such as a shower stool, non-slip mat and shower grab rail.
In addition, we can provide a kettle, ironing board and iron, as well as bathroom slippers and a toiletries bag for your stay, if required.
Most of the public areas of our hotel are accessible without steps. You can enter the hotel and reach the lift via the glass side entrance in the tower. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the public area of the Garden Lodge.
For safety and fire prevention reasons, open flames are not permitted in guest rooms (e.g. candles or tea lights).
All rooms are non-smoking. This also applies to e-cigarettes, vapes and similar devices.
Charging e-bike batteries in the room is also not permitted. Please use the designated charging facilities in the bicycle garage for this purpose.
To ensure a stylish yet relaxed stay, we ask that you dress appropriately in our public areas.
At breakfast and in our restaurant and bar areas in the evening, we would appreciate it if you could wear smart attire that suits the atmosphere.
In the afternoon, you are welcome to enjoy coffee and cake in the comfort of your bathrobe.
A charging point is available for charging your electric vehicle (charged according to usage: €0.60/kWh). Please register at reception before using the facility.
As a guest of our hotel, you enjoy an exclusive benefit with our local partner, Bike Area Schluchsee. There, you can easily rent high-quality e-bikes and bicycles for your tours through the High Black Forest. Charging e-bike batteries in the room is not permitted. Please use the charging facilities provided in the bicycle garage.
Our fitness room, which overlooks the hotel garden, is equipped with a range of Technogym machines. Open daily from 09:00 to 19:00 for hotel guests aged 16 and over. Use at your own risk.

You are welcome to reserve a garage parking space for a fee. The price is €10.00 per night.
Use of the outdoor parking spaces next to the building is free of charge.
Green Option is your way of contributing to greater environmental protection and sustainability. Simply let us know if you would like to opt out of daily room cleaning and have it carried out every few days instead. Our reception team will be happy to answer any further questions you may have.
Our vouchers are available exclusively as gift vouchers and can be redeemed individually – entirely according to the recipient’s wishes. They are perfect for any occasion. Once processed, you will receive your voucher conveniently by email to print out yourself. Of course, the voucher can also be redeemed at our Flora Spa & Wellness. On request, we will also be happy to send your voucher by post. Please note that a flat-rate postage and handling fee of €5.00 will be charged for this. If you would like your voucher sent by post, please specify this when placing your order.
Your dog is very welcome here. We charge €22.00 per night (excluding additional services). Please note that dogs are not permitted in the restaurant areas, the wellness facilities or the premium rooms. One dog is permitted per room. Dogs must be house-trained, well-behaved and have valid third-party liability insurance.
Our hotel is a retreat for those seeking relaxation and is intended exclusively for guests aged 16 and over.
To maintain the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, we do not generally accommodate guests with children under the age of 16. In exceptional cases, such as family celebrations, a request must be made via our reservations department.
With the KONUS guest card, you can travel by bus and train throughout the Black Forest and beyond free of charge (over 100 km). The card will be held for you at reception and will only be issued upon your arrival.
Subject to availability, we offer a late check-out service. You may continue to use your room and all the hotel’s facilities until 6 pm on that day. Day room surcharge: €150 per room.
Drinks are available in the central floor fridge near the library. Our large suites have their own minibar. Please contact reception if you need to store medication in the fridge.
Our main entrance is locked from 10.30 pm at the earliest. Please take your room key with you if you return later – you can access the building via the glass side entrance in the tower. Please note that the lift is out of service from 11.00 pm for safety reasons.
- Breakfast: Buffet served daily from 7.30 am to 10.30 am.
- Lunch (not included in half-board): Light lunch menu with small dishes daily from 12:00 to 17:00, exclusively for our hotel guests.
- Coffee & cake: Coffee, tea and homemade tray bakes, self-service from 14:30 to 16:30.
- Evening menu: Please take your seat between 6.00 pm and 8.00 pm. In the evening, we serve our 6-course gourmet menu featuring a starter, soup, a selection of salads from the buffet, a choice of 3 main courses, a sweet dessert and a cheese buffet. We also serve our evening menu to non-residents for €65.00 per person.
- Terrace: Enjoy your breakfast with a view of the hotel garden or choose light dishes from our lunch menu at midday. In the afternoon, coffee, tea and ice cream sundaes invite you to linger.
- Please note that the half-board menu is served exclusively in the restaurant.
- Allergies & intolerances: Please inform us before your arrival of any allergies, dietary requirements or special dietary needs. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate these at short notice or without prior notification. Despite taking the utmost care, traces of allergens cannot be completely ruled out. Depending on the effort involved, we reserve the right to charge a surcharge.
On the day of your arrival and departure, we are happy to provide a shuttle service between Schluchsee railway station and our hotel. Please book this at least one day in advance.
Cancellations made up to 21 days before arrival are free of charge. Should you cancel or shorten your room booking, we will of course endeavour to re-let the room. If we are unable to do so, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the agreed price for cancellations made up to 14 days before the arrival date, and 80% thereafter. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
We accept payments by girocard, Mastercard and Visa. Unfortunately, we cannot accept American Express. We prefer girocard and cash payments, as credit card payments incur higher processing fees
